An apartment renovation renews several rooms or the whole home at once: surfaces, floors, the kitchen, the wet rooms and, where needed, the layout. When everything is done in one project, the stages can be sequenced sensibly and nothing finished has to be torn out again.
We deliver apartment renovations as main contractor on a turnkey basis. Structural alterations and demolition, such as moving partition walls, are part of the package.

Before letting, selling or moving in
An apartment renovation usually makes most sense while the apartment is empty. If it is going to be let, the budget is best spent on things that make it easier to let and stand up to wear.
For investment apartments we also offer a property management service, in which the renovation is always carried out within the budget the owner sets, and letting and upkeep are handled by the same company.
Housing companies and permits
In a housing company, alterations that may affect the company's or another shareholder's spaces must be notified in writing in advance. Changes to load-bearing structures also require a structural design and often a permit from the building control authority.
In buildings constructed before 1994, demolition is preceded by a statutory asbestos survey.

Demolition, structural changes and technical installations come first.

Surfaces and fitting
Wet rooms, kitchen, floors and surfaces are completed in the planned order.

The apartment is cleaned and handed over with documentation.

Common questions
Can I live in the apartment during the renovation?
During an extensive renovation it is usually not possible, because the kitchen and bathroom are out of use and dust spreads. We give you an estimated schedule after the site visit.
Can partition walls be moved?
Lightweight partition walls can usually be removed and moved. Changes to load-bearing walls require a structural engineer's design and often a permit, and in a housing company they must always be agreed in advance.
Do you also renovate investment apartments?
Yes. We renovate owners' own homes and investment apartments alike. For investment apartments we also offer a property management service in which renovation, letting and upkeep come from one place.
Who is responsible for the schedule?
As main contractor we coordinate the stages of the work and answer for the schedule. You have one contact person for the whole project.
