Surface and interior work
The fastest way to lift a space — before letting, selling or moving in.
A surface renovation refreshes a space without heavy structural work. Painted and skimmed walls, new floors and finished trims change the feel of an apartment or commercial space far faster than a full refurbishment.
We carry out surface and interior work both as stand-alone contracts and as part of larger renovations.
The surface and interior work we do
- Painting and skimming
- Floor coating and covering
- Fitting and installation of fixtures
- Suspended ceiling installation
- Trims and finishing
- Protection of the space and final clean
When a surface renovation is enough
A surface renovation is the right choice when the structures and services are sound but the surfaces are worn: the walls have darkened, the floor is scratched, or the space needs freshening up before it is let or sold.
If moisture or other structural problems appear during the work, they should be fixed before the new surfaces go on — otherwise the new surface will have to come off again.
What the price depends on
The price depends on the area, the condition of the substrates and how much levelling is needed, the materials chosen, and whether the space is furnished or empty. The assessment and quote are free.

Common questions
Can a surface renovation be done while I live there?
Often, yes, when the work is done one room at a time. The room is out of use while the floor is being laid, so it pays to plan the order in advance.
Do you take on painting work alone?
Yes. Painting and skimming can also be a stand-alone contract.
Is a surface renovation worth doing before letting an apartment?
Often, yes. Fresh surfaces improve the first impression and make an apartment easier to let. In our property management service, the renovation is always carried out within the budget the owner sets.
Does a surface renovation qualify for the household tax credit?
The labour portion of work done in your own home or holiday home can qualify. The credit does not apply to an investment apartment that is let out. We are entered in the prepayment register; check the current amounts with the Finnish Tax Administration.
