Kitchen renovation
A kitchen that works, on the agreed schedule and budget — from strip-out to the last trim.
The kitchen is the most-used room in a home, and renovating it brings several trades together: demolition, surfaces, electrics, water and drainage, unit installation and appliances. When one contractor answers for the whole, the stages do not sit waiting for each other.
We deliver kitchen renovations as main contractor — from renewing surfaces and units to a full refurbishment in which the layout changes as well.
What a kitchen renovation includes
- Removal of old units and surfaces
- Wall and floor levelling and finishes
- Installation of units, worktops and splashback
- Installation of appliances
- Electrical and plumbing work by qualified professionals
- Final clean and handover
Plan before you strip out
A good kitchen renovation starts with measurements and the order of the work zones: where the hob, sink and fridge sit in relation to each other, whether there is enough worktop, and where the sockets are needed. Deciding these before demolition avoids expensive changes halfway through.
If water points or drains are moved in a housing company, the alteration must be notified to the board or the property manager in advance.
What the price depends on
The price depends most on the units and worktops chosen, the size of the kitchen, the number of appliances and whether the layout changes. Renewing doors and surfaces alone is a completely different scale of job from a full kitchen refurbishment.

Common questions
Can I use the kitchen during the renovation?
Usually not, because the water and electrical connections are disconnected for part of the time. We give you an estimated schedule after the site visit so you can plan a temporary arrangement.
Does a kitchen renovation need housing-company approval?
If the renovation affects water or drain pipes, the electrical system or the structures, it must be notified to the housing company in writing before work begins. Simply replacing units and surfaces usually does not require a notice, but it is worth checking the housing company's own guidance.
Does a kitchen renovation qualify for the household tax credit?
The labour portion of a renovation in your own home or holiday home can qualify for the household tax credit. We are entered in the prepayment register. Check the current amounts with the Finnish Tax Administration.
Do you also do smaller kitchen updates?
Yes. Replacing doors, worktops or surfaces is often a quick way to refresh a kitchen when the carcasses are in good condition.
